Cafe Cannoli 🇮🇹 . Today, I received the most beautiful package of fresh cannoli from the fantastic cafecannoli. If you’re not aware, cannoli are Italian pastries originating from Sicily, crispy tube shaped pastry filled with a sweet cream traditionally made from ricotta 👌 I visited Sicily for the first time a few years ago and ate my weight in cannoli! I am so glad I found Cafe Cannoli as they are completely authentic, the products used are sourced direct from Sicily to ensure only the finest ingredients are used. The filling is made from sheep’s milk ricotta which gives it the velvety rich texture that will make you keep going back for more! The flavour choice is great, something for everyone’s taste! I started off with the traditional which is made up of the sweet ricotta cream, chocolate chips and candies orange strips. The filling is so smooth and indulgent and the pastry has that perfect crunch. The ideal snack with your afternoon coffee or a glass of fizz 🥂 Based in Stratford Upon Avon, deliveries are available throughout the majority of the midlands, all the specifics are on their website. They offer delivery to MK postcodes on Tuesdays, which is great news for everyone in Bedford and surrounding areas. They are also available to purchase all week from the castleashbydeli. They are packaged beautifully and would make a fantastic gift to cheer a loved one or yourself up during lockdown ❤️ . BACON & MUSHROOM RISOTTO. . Bacon & mushroom risotto • Tomato, basil & cucumber salad. . I love a risotto. I know so many people who say they don’t have the confidence to make this dish but it is actually super simple. Sure, it takes a bit of time and you have to stay with it but everything goes in one pot and all you really need to do is stir. The end result is amazingly yummy, packed full of flavour and always a win in our house. You can add almost anything you like to your risotto, so it’s great for using up those leftovers. We had some bacon and mushrooms that needed eating so that’s what we went for. . . Give it a go, I promise you’ll love it. The recipe is below. . Gigi’s dinner is served on her favourite ecorascals ladybird plate. Use discount code MFB10 for 10% off. . BACON & MUSHROOM RISOTTO RECIPE. YOU NEED. Olive oil - 2 tbsp. Onion - chopped finely. Streaky Bacon - 8 rashers sliced into small strips. Mushrooms - 150g sliced. Garlic - 1 clove crushed. White wine - 1 small glass. Risotto rice - 300g. Vegetable or Chicken stock - 1 litre. Grana Padano - 50g grated. Butter - 25g Parsley - handful chopped. Black pepper - to season. MAKE IT. 1. Soften the onions over a gentle heat for 3 mins. 2. Add the bacon & stir in with the onions. Leave to cook for a further 3 mins. 3. Now stir in the chopped mushrooms and cook for further 5 minutes to soften the mushrooms. 4. Stir in the garlic for 30 seconds then pour in the the rice. 5. Stir all the ingredients into the rice and pour in the wine. 6. Stir until the wine bubbles away. 7. Pour in some of stock and leave to cook on a low/medium heat stirring often. 8. Keep adding the stock, a bit at a time until the rice is cooked. This should take 30-40 mins. 9. So nice the rice is cooked, stir in the butter & season with black pepper. 10. Take off the heat, stir in the cheese & sprinkle in the parsley. . . ⏰ 5 mins prep | 50-60 mins cook. 🍝 Serves 4. 👫 Perfect for kids of all ages. 👶 Risotto is great for weaning and your little one is sure to love this recipe but I would suggest leaving out the bacon & wine for babies younger than 1 yr. It will still taste delicious.

In a pan, spread a layer of gelato and top with cookies, or leftover cake. Freeze until firm and then prepare ganache, by melting together 200 gr of chocolate and 100 ml of cream. After a long weekend off, it is back to the day job. I am keeping dinners a simple at the moment as it is difficult working full time, testing recipes and keeping up with the typing of the recipes and updating the blog, on top of trying to plan for when we can get to France for the many viewings that are on the waiting list for the sale of maisonpebe - new and exciting times are ahead. Fusilli alla Vodka with Basil and Parmesan Vodka sauce is an Italian-American cuisine sauce made from a smooth tomato sauce, vodka, typical Italian herbs, and heavy cream. It is a key ingredient in penne alla vodka Recipe by Jon & Vinny's, Los Angeles INGREDIENTS ¼ cup olive oil ½ shallot, finely chopped 1 small garlic clove, finely grated ½ cup tomato paste 2 tablespoons vodka 1 cup heavy cream 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper 1 pound fusilli 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 ounce finely grated Parmesan, plus more for serving ¼ cup chopped fresh basil RECIPE PREPARATION Heat oil in a large skillet over medium. Add shallot and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add tomato paste and cook, stirring occasionally, until paste is brick red and starts to caramelize, about 5 minutes. Add vodka and cook, stirring constantly, until liquid is mostly evaporated, about 2 minutes. Add cream and red pepper flakes and stir until well blended. Season with salt and pepper; remove from heat. Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta cooking liquid. Add pasta to skillet with sauce along with butter and ½ cup pasta cooking liquid. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly and adding more pasta cooking liquid if needed, until butter has melted and a thick, glossy sauce has formed, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and add 1 oz. Parmesan, tossing to coat. Buon inizio settimana! Oggi abbiamo fatto merenda con la nostra 𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀 𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐈 𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐈 𝐅𝐈𝐓 🍊 ⁣ È morbissima, facilissima da preparare e ottima anche per colazione con della crema spalmabile o dello yogurt e un buon cappuccino ☕️ ⁣ ⁣ Ingredienti: ⁣ ⁣ - 200g di farina (meglio se integrale⁣) - 4 uova 🥚 ⁣ - 1 arancia 🍊⁣ - 1 limone 🍋⁣ - 100g di zucchero di canna⁣ - 50g di olio di semi⁣ - 1 cucchiaio di estratto di vaniglia ⁣ - 1 bustina di lievito per dolci ⁣ - q.b. zucchero a velo/cacao amaro ⁣ - q.b. yogurt greco (noi abbiamo usato uno yogurt greco 0% al limone) 😋⁣ ⁣ Preparazione:⁣ ⁣ - Iniziare a grattugiare la buccia di un limone e di un’arancia ⁣ - Premerli e mettere da parte il succo (assicurarsi che arrivi almeno a 150ml altrimenti allungarlo con un po’ d’acqua)⁣ - Aggiungere alla farina la scorza grattugiata di arancia e limone ⁣ - Montare gli albumi a neve in una ciotola e in un’altra i tuorli con lo zucchero (fino a farli diventare spumosi)⁣ - Unire tutti gli ingredienti in una ciotola e mescolare ⁣ - Versare il composto in un ruoto per ciambella di 22cm (oliarlo e infarinarlo per non farla attaccare)⁣ - Infornare in forno preriscaldato a 170° per 35-40 minuti⁣ - Fare la prova stecchino e sfornare⁣ ⁣ Cosa ne pensate? Oggi ho voluto deliziarmi con una semplice #piadina rigorosamente #homemade farcita con #bresaola e #rucola . . . INGREDIENTI PER 3 PIADINE: 125 ml acqua 40g #olioextravergine 1 cucchiaino #sale 250g #farina 1 cucchiaino #bicarbonato . . PROCEDIMENTO: incorporate tutti gli ingredienti insieme, prima quelli secchi e poi i liquidi, e impastate finché non otterrete un impasto liscio. Lasciate riposare l impasto 20 minuti coperto da uno straccio o dalla stessa ciotola che avete usato per amalgamare gli ingredienti. Trascorsi i 20 minuti dividete l impasto in 3 palline, stendetelo fino ad un diametro di circa 30 cm. Fate scaldare una padella antiaderente (sarà della temperatura giusta quando facendo cadere dell' acqua sopra, l'acqua rimbalzera) a questo punto fate cuocere le piadine bucherellando con la forchetta per non farlo gonfiare. 2 minuti per lato e il gioco è fatto!!! #buonappetito 😋 . Monday morning 2 ingredient breakfast pastry — puff pastry and jam. Roll out two equal rectangles of puff pastry. Dot one sheet with jam and cover with the other sheet of puff pastry. Cut into squares (pizza cutter works best), press the sides and bake at 190/410F for 20-25 minutes. You can make a glaze by mixing together powdered sugar and lemon juice or just sprinkle with powdered sugar. Have a great week! #🇮🇹❤️ #eatitalian

Iniziamo la settimana con lasagne di verdure un piatti semplice non fatevi spaventare dagli ingredienti Un peperone rosso due zucchine 1 cipolla 100 g di piselli fini una foglia di cipollotto 1 scalogno 1 spicchio d'aglio 2 patate 1 costa di sedano una melanzana origano, prezzemolo olio, sale, pepe 200 g di grissini salati per la besciamella: 200 ml di salsa di pomodoro 500 ml di latte 4 cucchiai di farina noce moscata sale e pepe 4 cucchiai di olio Parmigiano grattugiato Lavate le verdure, tagliate le zucchine, le melanzane e le patate a cubetti, il peperone a quadretti , il gambo di sedano a tocchetti. Precuocete tutte le verdure al vapore oppure all'interno di una Wok, tritate lo scalogno, la foglia di cipollotto e l'aglio E fate soffriggere leggermente prima di versarci tutte le verdure precotte, le quali dovranno solamente insaporirsi. Ultimate con una spolverata di origano, prezzemolo, Sale e Pepe. nel frattempo prepariamo la besciamella. fate scaldare l'olio in una pentolina Aggiungete la farina e mescolate con una frusta fino a ottenere un composto unico, diluite con il latte tiepido poco per volta ottenendo un composto liquido, riponete sul fuoco e continuate a cuocere fino a quando non si addensa. Insaporite con sale, pepe, una grattata di noce moscata e parmigiano. Ora potrete incorporare anche la salsa al pomodoro tingendo la besciamella. prendiamo una teglia e ungiamola cospargiamo 1 - 2 mestoli di besciamella sul fondo, versiamo tutte le nostre verdure, cospargiamo con la besciamella rimasta, componiamo uno strato di grissini sbriciolati un filo di olio un'altra spolverata di parmigiano, origano e prezzemolo. cuociamo in forno a 180° per 45 minuti, prima di servire lasciate intiepidire. Salade tomates mozzarella di bufala Campana olives noirs basilic et huile d'olive. Panna cotta vanille coulis de framboises express. Ingrédients pour 4 personnes si la panna cotta est servie dans des coupes ou 6 si elle est servie dans des verrines ou ramequins : 1 sachet d'Agar-Agar  40 g de sucre en poudre  25 cl de crème liquide  25 cl de lait 1/2 écrémé  1 gousse de vanille ou vanille en poudre Coulis de framboises Préparation : Dans une casserole mélanger l'agar-agar et le sucre puis à l'aide d'un fouet les dissoudre dans la crème liquide. Incorporer le lait demi-écrémé à cette préparation. Porter le mélange à ébullition pendant 3 min. Couper la gousse de vanille en 2, gratter les grains et les ajouter à la préparation avec les morceaux de gousse. Laisser infuser et tiédir. Retirer ensuite les morceaux de gousse de vanille et répartir la préparation dans des verrines au ⅔ et les placer au frais pendant au moins une heure. Lorsque la surface est dure, napper les verrines de coulis et servir (pas besoin de les remettre au réfrigérateur surtout si le coulis a été placé au frais auparavant). . . . #eatitalian #eatclean #mangersain #languesetculturesdumonde
